Instructions
Preheat oven to temperature specified for your texture preference. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
๐ก Use parchment paper sling for easy removal
In a large bowl, mash bananas until mostly smooth (some lumps are okay).
๐ก Overripe bananas = more flavor
๐ก Freeze and thaw for extra sweetness
Add wet ingredients to bananas and mix until combined.
๐ก Order doesn't matter much for quick breads
In another bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
๐ก Sifting optional but helps prevent lumps
Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined. Do not overmix.
๐ก Lumps are okay! Overmixing = tough bread
Pour into prepared pan and bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
๐ก Tent with foil if top browns too quickly
Cool in pan 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack.
๐ก Wrapping while slightly warm keeps it moist
